The Christian Education Committee is responsible for organizing and overseeing the Sunday Schools, Vacation Church Schools, Pre-School, Confirmation Classes and KUFFS. It encourages the use of the teaching and worship materials approved by the ELCA. It seeks to introduce the church's periodical and books of family devotions into the homes of the congregation.

This is a FUN, entertaining, and informative program that is appropriate for any age, or financial situation.
It is also a unique opportunity to teach TEENS how to handle money, save for the future, and avoid debt. A program like this should be required for high school graduation!
Maybe you are married and would like to learn more about How to Communicate With Your Spouse About Money. Also lots for singles, divorcees, single parents, engaged couples, and other family situations.
This program not only teaches financial principles but also helps you apply them to your daily life. Personal finance is 20% knowledge and 80% behavior.

Two new Adult Sunday School Classes are now available at Messiah.
"People who met Jesus" will continue to meet in the conference room. This class is lead by Jean Wessinger, Jerry Miller, and John Stone. The class consists of a 5 to 10 minute video followed by a discussion.
"Fireproof Your Marriage" will start September 13th. This class will be lead by Stephanie and Steve Shafer. They will be meeting in the Joy Center. The class will consist of DVD clips, a workbook, and a discussion.
Information on additional Adult Classes will be presented as they become available. If you are interested in a subject or would like to start an adult class, please contact Ella Demuth at 862-9021.
