The Worship and Music Committee is responsible for seeing that the services of God's house are conducted in accordance with the ELCA. This committee, using music and liturgy, provide enriched and inspiring worship services.

There's lots of opportunities to serve at Messiah's contemporary service,
"The Hearth"!!
We need friendly people to greet and pass out bulletins before each service. We can always use folks to help set up communion, put Bibles on chairs, prepare refreshments, and run the soundboard/powerpoint. And if God blessed you with musical gifts, you are invited to use them with our praise band - Messiah's Fire. All instruments and voices are welcome! We practice on Wednesday nights at 7 pm in Luther Hall. Just talk to any member of the praise team on ways to get involved!!

Sanctuary Choir
This is an opportunity to worship and serve through your vocal talent.
All are welcome to participate. A basic ability to read music is helpful but not
necessary. Practice is Tuesday evening at 6:45 in the music room. The Sanctuary
Choir sings at the Sunday 9:00 am traditional service in the sanctuary.
Messiah's Fire
All instruments and voices are welcome! Practice is on Wednesday nights at
7 pm in Luther Hall. Messiah's Fire sings/plays for "The Hearth," the Sunday
11:15 am contemporary service in Luther Hall.
Mid-Morning Choir
If you attend the 11:15 traditional service and like to sing, this is the choir for you.
All are welcome. Practice is in the sanctuary on Sunday morning at 10:30.
Children's Choir
This is a perfect way to prepare our future musicians.
Children's Choir meets at 6:45 pm on Wednesday.
Handbell Choir
Previous experience or the ability to read music is needed.
Practice is on Tuesday evening at 8:00 o'clock in the sanctuary.
