This is one part of our mission statement here at Messiah. If we are to engage in Serving Jesus and Sharing Jesus – the other three parts, we need to be grounded in study of scripture. Opportunities abound for you to get to know Jesus better.

Three adult classes welcome your participation each Sunday. You can meet Jesus through the people he met while here on earth in a video and discussion based class that meets in the conference room. Or, in room 117 of the Family Activity Center, you can explore The Word through classic sermons and discussion of a variety of pastor’s interpretation of scripture. Finally, you can fire proof your marriage each week in the Joy Center. This class aims to strengthen the households of our church by strengthening marriages.

We are looking for teachers to start other classes for adults on Sunday morning, so let us know if you have an idea and the willingness to teach and we will help get you started.

Small groups meet at various times of the week for book studies and you are welcome or talk to Pastor Craig about starting your own small group. WELCA circles, and our Men in Mission are also great ways to learn more about Jesus.

Is Wednesday morning a good time for you? Come at 9:00 for prayer and then join in the study of the Book of Faith lead by Pastor John.

For children and youth, there is a class for ages 2 to 18 on Sunday morning. The 2 year olds meet in the nursery, three Godly Play classes – for ages 3 to 5th grade, meet down stairs in the Family Activity Center and our Middle School and High School classes meet up stairs.

Getting to know Jesus doesn’t just happen – it comes through the hearing and study of the scriptures. You are invited to come and get to know your Savior.
